Oxford Working Dog Club was founded in 2015 as the first IGP Belgian Shepherd Club in Canada. Initially a member of the American Working Malinois Association (AWMA), it became the first member club of the Canadian Working Belgian Shepherd Association (CWBSA) when founded the following year. Since then, several members competed at the national and international level in IGP and IGP-FH Tracking. Our club embraced Mondioring training in 2024. Club member Ken Heald with his female Malinois Cache obtained their first MR 1 leg at the inaugural trial of the Canada Mondioring Association in 2025. Now with 2 more members training in Mondioring (Anthony with Pepi and Tracy with Iron), our club is looking forward to develop this new section, host events, and promote this amazing dog sport.
